Sporty Me

My legs hurt from our trip this weekend.
I went to spinning class anyway. I did the best of all my classes together. Good job, sporty me!

Going Deep

I went deep today at spinning class. My God! I have never ever ever felt that way while working out!
I felt really dizzy at a certain point, so I needed to slow down. My mind didn't want to stop, but my legs were thinking differently. I grabbed some sugar and hoped I wouldn't freeze. I didn't and went all the way.
I just took a shower and my battery is charged again!

Took a Ride

Before summer my boyfriend bought himself a new race bike and I got his old one. I was super excited, because I liked spinning class and I wanted to ride for real. Unfortunately the local women's Cycle Club were already training for a few months. I would be too slow and inexperienced to ride along with them. Understandable, but I was a little disappointed. I told myself I would give my best at spinning class to get myself ready for spring 2014 and the open road.
I parked the bike in the back of my mind until spinning class started last week.

Today, my boyfriend was working on his new bike at his parents house (we don't have the space at our apartment to give it a safe place), inflated the tires of his old one and proposed to go for a ride (on the bike, of course! Perv!).
I didn't feel like it at first (I was wearing high heels, I came straight from work), but I gave in after a few minutes. I got a pair of socks from my boyfriend's mom and luckily I had some sneakers in the back of my car.
And off we went. To my boyfriend's grandparents' house. Me and my new old race bike.

I LOVED IT, although I was just wearing jeans. Respect for all you cycling women out there! There's nothing left from my Vajayjay! About time my Urbanist chamois get to production!

My boyfriend:
"I thought you would be complaining all the way!"
"I was surprised on how fast you went."
"You have a natural position on the bike."
"You look sexy!" (Say whaaat?? I put my jeans in my socks ^o)!)
"I think I fell in love with you again!"

I can't wait until spring ^^!

Zen

Spinning class started again for me today.
I'm so tired right now, but I'm zen! I love it when I feel that way after our class!

Urbanist

Are you familiar with the term: crowdfunding?
I was, but I never thought of sponsoring a project like that.
My boyfriend send me a link to such a project that needed funding.

'Urbanist' is a US startup company of Christinia. She was in need of a good pair of cycling chamois panties and started to develop a little collection on her own.

The Brigitte

The Brigitte is great for spin class and daily commutes.
She's promised to be flattering and comfortable with a chamois insert thick enough to protect your va-jay-jay on your bike. And girls, we all know the feeling, don't we?

The Bettie

The Bettie is damn sexy if you ask me.
This chamois panties should be used for short distances (like biking from Sangria to Sangria during summer).
If you and your guy are wasted enough by the end of the evening, he still can take off your pants without you shaming yourself.

I always admired young entrepreneurs with a great idea, but putting the money into it? I would have never done this in the past, I think. So I did a good deed and I did something that's out of my comfort zone: Investing my money where I'm not 100% sure I will get it back in some sort of way.
I took a jump and I invested in a project that I think has a very good chance in succeeding.

If you are a spinning fan or a cyclist, than take a look at this project and back it together with us on Kickstarter!
Me and my boyfriend funded $105,00.

My Athlete

I'm too late again with my blogpost, but yet again with a good reason.
Like I said a couple of days ago, my boyfriend had his first half triathlon of the season today and he did great! I wanted to post his results along the race, but my mobile data failed me again!

He was second to come out of the water and was quite fast to get on his bike. Apparently he was doing very well, because we saw him at the running track a lot sooner than expected.
He thought he would finish at 9.30 pm (started at 4pm), but he came in at 9pm sharp! I'm so proud of him!

Getting In Shape

Wow, every week I'm getting in better shape!
Just a few drops of sweat on my spinning bike comparing to last week! Could have been the airconditioning though...

Fan

My boyfriend participated in a race today. He had to run 16km (Respect, man!).
Because I am the perfect girlfriend, I went along to encourage him with my whole family!
I took a pretty funny picture at the finish. His face looks like he just left a doodoo in his pants :'-) !

Tough Cookie

I wasn't feeling so well today at work. I think my lack of sleep from the past few weeks and the past weekend has something to do with it...
But I went spinning anyway! HUUUUUOOEEH! Tough, huh?!

Normally, I award myself with a cookie, but today I'm extra tough and skip those extra calories this time.

Spinning

I think I died today...
I went to a spinning class for the first time, along with my sister.
I am sweaty, stinky and tired, so I did a good job!
