Little Book of Calm: Tip 1

Here's a tip from my little book of calm. 
(People who know me: "She doesn't have a little book of calm! She has a big book of ADHD!") 
I have to admit, I have to use it more often.

My tip only works for people with long hair.
When you take a shower, let your hair fall over your ears and close your eyes. Let the water fall right on your head.
Concentrate. 
Listen to the water, it's like drops of rain. 


I picture myself in the jungle (with clothes on!). 
I'm in the middle of the pouring rain. 
I'm not cold, I'm super calm. 

Or, I picture myself sitting in front of an open fire, while it's pouring rain outside.  I'm safe inside, nice and warm. 
I love the sound of the rain.
